How to make an origami heart

Here are the step-by-step instructions to fold an heart.

heart - step 1

1. Origami Heart.

This heart is the second animated origami model on Origami Channel. I am improving my 3D origami folding program in order to be able to create animations of more types of folds. This heart is much more complex (from a computer point of view!) than the dog so it took me much more time to program.

I also spent many hours designing this heart, I hope you like it! It has a slightly different shape than most of the other origami hearts, and the two halves of the heart are "locked" so they don't open like some other hearts.

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel to get notifications when I publish new origami animations. Thank you! :-)

Please do not publish instructions, diagrams or videos that show how to fold it, but instead point people to this page. If you would like to help with the translation of the instructions to your language (or improve the translation), please let me know. Thank you!
