The Dog Head is a very cute and very easy traditional origami models that can be folded by young kids easily and quickly. Once they have folded the dog ears and nose, they can draw eyes to complete the dog face. There are no specific locations for the folds of the ears and nose, so you can fold many different looking dogs, with small ears or big ears and small nose or big nose. And of course your dog can be of any color you like.
Here are the step-by-step instructions to fold a Dog Head.
1. Origami Dog Head.
This dog is the very first animated origami model on Origami Channel. To create the animation of the folds, I am creating a 3D origami folding software program. I'm hoping to enhance it so that it can support more types of folds (it's currently limited to mountain and valley folds).
